Spiering’s Eaton Road Warrior third in final Rockingham

this season and we all want to finish things off

ROCKINGHAM,
North Carolina (October 21, 2006) – Carl Spiering secured
third position in the Eaton Electrical Supercharged Pro Modified
Chevrolet Camaro during the final qualifying sessions in Rockingham,
North Carolina.
“We made three solid qualifying runs in the Eaton Road
Warrior this weekend,” said Carl Spiering. “In
the first lap of qualifying on Friday we ran 6.084-seconds
at 234.00 mph. That was pretty stout, but then we backed it
up today with 6.047-second 235.97-mph pass in the second qualifier
and then we ripped a 6.036 seconds at 232.99-mph on the final
run of qualifying.”
The
Carl Spiering Motorsports entry will face number eleven qualifier
Eddie Ware from Marietta, GA and his 1967 Camaro in the first
round of the final eliminations on Sunday starting at 11:00
a.m. EST.
“I’m proud of my team, the guys have worked hard
all year and never gave up,” added Spiering, the 41-year
old driver from Jordan Station, Ontario. “We’ve
had some bad luck this season and we all want to finish things
off with a win.”
