Spiering
qualifies Eaton Road Warrior third
for IHRA finals at Norwalk
NORWALK,
OH (August 26, 2006) – Driving the Eaton Electrical
Supercharged Pro Modified Camaro, Carl Spiering secured third
position going into the finals of Sunday’s Skull Shine
World Nationals presented by ACDelco in the IHRA eMax Drag
Racing Series at Norwalk Raceway.
“We ran a 6.191-second, 229.70-mph in the first round
of qualifying, shook the tires violently on the second pass
and ran 6.152-seconds at over 231-mph tonight and that’s
not bad,” said Spiering, from Jordan Station, Ontario.
“We’ve managed to qualify real well all season
and it’s about time to win some rounds in the Eaton
Road Warrior.”
The Carl Spiering Motorsports entry will face Raymond Commisso's
1967 Camaro from Toronto ON in the first round of the final
eliminations at the IHRA Skull Shine World Nationals on Sunday.
