PSI superchargers join Spiering as associate sponsor

JORDAN STATION, ONTARIO (February 20, 2007) – Carl Spiering Motorsports and Performance Systems Inc. (PSI) superchargers will be teaming up in 2007.

“We will be working very closely with Carl Spiering and his ERD (Engine Research & Development) operation to develop and design new products to enhance an already solid program,” said Roger Olander of Performance Systems Inc. “The Eaton Road Warrior qualifies well at every event with a steadiness and reliability that no other Pro Modified team matched.”

“ERD will work closely with PSI on a research and development program to provide products that exceed the high standards expected by the racers,” explained Spiering. “The Eaton Road Warrior will be a test bed for this technology and will eventually be available to racers.”

Spiering has a strong belief and commitment to this program. “We run what we sell,” he commented.

With a solid and proven competition background, ERD (Engine Research & Development), features a state of the art Dynamic Test Systems (DTS) dynamometer system that allows competition engines to be developed, tested, and race ready. ERD’s reputation is growing into one of the most popular engine suppliers on the Pro Modified circuit, as well as other classes of drag racing and other forms of motorsports.

Spiering, the 42-year old driver from Jordan Station, Ontario, in his Eaton Electrical 1967 Camaro continues to lead the chase for the 2007 Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified Shootout in the IHRA eMax Nitro Jam™ Drag Racing Series.

About Performance Systems Inc. (PSI):
Based in Tempe, Arizona, PSI design and manufacture high-performance products that dominate in racing competition. Working closely with customers and paying attention to detail has resulted in superior equipment with no equal, especially when it comes to superchargers. The supercharger, or blower, is a crank-driven air/fuel-mixture compressor that increases atmospheric pressure in an engine to produce more horsepower. The additional mass of oxygen-containing air that is forced into the engine improves on its volumetric efficiency, which allows it to burn more fuel in a given cycle and this in turn makes the engine produce more power. PSI products have set records in every drag racing class where its products are allowed. PSI quality and reliability have set the standard in this industry.
